Agritourism Online Training

Our regular season of 2010 webinars has now ended. We can still organize webinars for individual groups, and we do offer custom consulting at a very reasonable price. For more information, contact sales@cornmazesamerica.com.

One of the most important things to keep your farm on top of its business is to always continue learning. Conferences are a great way to help you learn about new ideas, and they can also help to reinforce what you already know.

While conferences are a great way to learn, they also have some drawbacks.

  1. Conferences can be expensive. Not only do you many times have to pay hundreds of dollars for a single registration, but you have to pay for travel, hotels, and food.

  2. You might only be interested in a few topics offered at the conference, but you still have to pay for the entire conference.

  3. If you do not take good notes, you many times forget most of what was said by the time you get home.

  4. Some topics just cannot be easily presented in a large auditorium or in large groups. Topics such as computer training and hands-on workshops are much easier in front of computers in small groups.

Corn Mazes America has just the solution for you. We are now presenting live online conferences! You choose what topics interest you, you select a convenient time, and you attend from the comfort of your own home. Plus, you only pay a small fee for whatever topics interest you. After its over, you can view a recording of the conference later or you can order a DVD recording. Sound too good to be true? Here's how it works:

  1. Pre-register for one or more of the conferences below that interest you. Most conferences are offered at multiple times to give you a convenient time. You can pay through PayPal using a PayPal account or a credit card. Register at least 24 hours in advance to make sure you receive your log in information ahead of time..

  2. You will receive an email with a link for your conference. Five minutes before the conference click the link and you will be joined in with the live conference. You will see the presenter's screen on your computer. Sound will be delivered through your speakers. If you want to speak during the conference, you can use a microphone attached to your computer, or you can call in to a long distance number (no extra fees apply for phone calls beyond normal long distance rates).

  3. Enjoy the conference from the comfort of your computer. Your group will never have more than 15 participants. You can raise your hand if you have questions and the presenter will address them.

  4. After the conference you can go back and watch a recording of the conference online, or you can order a copy on DVD for a small additional fee.
